A rave bra has to do more than look good in photos. It has to stay put through a four-hour set, sit right on your body, and come in your size. That last part is where most rave bras fall down, because a lot of shops stop at XL. We scanned 8 stores' own rave bra collections on September 28, 2026, and counted every bra and bra top for sizes, plus sizes, sequin, light up builds, stock, checkout price and reviews. Then we ranked the best rave bras and picked winners for light up, sequin and plus-size. This guide is one spoke of our wider look at the best rave clothing brands.

Here is how we weighted it, and why.

Fit, sizing and plus (30%). A rave bra is only as good as its fit, and the size run decides who can wear it at all. We read every size option and counted pieces with a numbered 1X to 3X or Plus size, and pieces that go to 3X or larger in any form, including letter 3XL and 4XL. Three stores here carry 3X or larger on most of their bras; two stop at XL.

Trust and reviews (20%). Score next to count. A 4.6 from 263 reviews and a 2.5 from 5 are not the same signal, and two stores here have no Trustpilot profile. We also read reviews on the bras themselves for fit, straps and how they held up on the floor.

Styles and range (20%). How many bras and bra tops, and how many kinds: sequin, rhinestone, mesh, fishnet, faux fur, light up. Shelves here run from 4 to 176 pieces.

Selection in stock (15%). A bra that is sold out in your size is no help the week of the festival. In-stock rates on scan day run from 0% to 100%.

Value at checkout (15%). What you pay, not the crossed-out number. Two stores show compare-at prices on most of their bras, so we scored the median checkout price and set each store's tier from its median regular price.

iHeartRaves takes the top spot on sizing and trust, not on shelf size, and we will say so: two stores here list about twice as many bras. What it does better is fit more bodies. 60 of its 84 bras and bra tops come in a numbered 1X to 3X, and 68 go to 3X or larger. 81 of 84 were in stock. The shelf leans mesh, UV-reactive and reflective rather than sequin, and there was no LED bra on it on scan day. The median at checkout was $38.67. Shop the rave tops and festival bras collection.

One Stop Rave matches the winner on the one thing most rave bra shops skip: size. 67 of its 71 bra tops come in a letter 3XL, 28 go to 4XL, and all 67 were orderable on scan day. The shelf is built on a few cuts, lifted, triangle, support and bandeau tops, in bold printed fabrics. 69 of 71 were in stock, and the median is $44.95. Trust is the weak spot. Its Trustpilot profile is unclaimed, with 3 reviews and a 2.8, so there is little to go on beyond the size chart.

Badinka's rave bra shelf is small, 8 bra tops, but all 8 come in a 3XL and all 8 were in stock. The pieces are cutout, O-ring and butterfly tops rather than classic bras, and the median at checkout was $26.49, the lowest here. Trust is solid on a real file: 4.0 on Trustpilot across 469 reviews, claimed. If you like the look, it is an easy, inexpensive buy in a wide size run, and the cutouts pair well with high-waisted bottoms. If you want a lot to choose from, the shelf runs out fast.

iEDM sells printed rave bras, 73 of them, all in stock, and 27 described as UV-reactive, so they react under blacklight. The designs come from a long list of artists, which is the draw: if you want a specific print, this is where the variety is. The limit is size. All 73 stop at XL, so it is out of the running for plus buyers. It shows a compare-at price on 73 of 73, and the median at checkout was $42.95. Trust is good at 4.2 on Trustpilot across 588 reviews.

Rave Wonderland has a wide, varied rave bra shelf: 162 bras and bra tops, 17 with sequin in the name, bead tops, faux fur, rhinestones and 2 light up pieces, one of them an LED carnival bra. Stock is the problem, 121 of 162 in stock, a 75% rate, so check your size before you plan a look around one piece. Sizing is narrow too: 3XL shows on 5 of 162. The median at checkout was $40.94. Trustpilot is thin at 2.5 from 5 reviews, but its product pages carry plenty of reviews on the bras themselves.

6. Dolls Kill

Dolls Kill lists the most rave bras here, 176, with 11 sequin pieces by name, metallic bra tops and faux fur. Almost none of it was orderable: 9 of 176 were in stock on scan day, a 5% rate. It also carries a 1X to 3X on 6 bras, but none of those 6 was orderable, and much of the shelf is sequin and metallic statement pieces you would want to try in your size. The median at checkout was $38. Trust is middling on a huge file, 3.5 on Trustpilot across 8381 reviews. Worth checking again when it restocks.

Light Up Wear is a light up specialist, and its bra shelf is 4 pieces: two fiber optic LED bras, a fiber optic LED crop top and a light up bikini. All 4 were in stock. These are statement pieces, $89 to $119, for a set where you want to be the light show, and they need a charged battery pack to do it. Sizes run S to XL, and there is no Trustpilot profile. Its own product pages carry a few reviews, all dated November 29, 2021, so read them as a start, not a verdict.

Sasswear makes light up festival bras in themed designs, butterflies, mushrooms, a spider web, daisies and leaves, and they come up on the first page for light up rave bras. The shelf is 6 bras at $80, and all 6 were sold out as bras on scan day; the only orderable option was a matching pair of shorts. No size options are listed. There is no Trustpilot profile and we found no reviews on its product pages, so there is nothing to read on trust yet. It ranks last on stock and trust, not on the designs.

A few more names worth knowing

Etsy is the place for handmade and custom rave bras, including cup-sized and made-to-measure pieces that no store here offers; the trade-off is that every seller has a different size chart and return policy. Pasties and body chains are the other half of many rave bra looks, and rave shops, iHeartRaves included, sell them separately, so check the accessories shelf before you buy a bra that needs them.

Sequin, mesh or light up?

Each fabric does a different job. Sequin and rhinestone bras are for the photos and the lasers: heavy, sparkly and a little stiff, best for a night set when it cools down. Mesh and fishnet are the daytime pick. They breathe, they layer over a bralette or pasties, and they are the least likely to rub after six hours. UV-reactive and reflective fabrics sit in between, plain in daylight and bright under blacklight or a camera flash. Light up bras are their own category. They cost more, they need a charged battery, and they make you the brightest thing in the crowd. If you only buy one rave bra, a stretch or mesh piece in a color that goes with most of your bottoms gets the most wear.

How to find a rave bra that fits

Start with the size chart, not the size letter. Rave bras run small at a lot of shops, and reviewers here say so more than once, so measure your bust and underbust and compare. If you are between sizes, size up; you can tighten a strap, but you can't add fabric. Look for adjustable straps and a back tie or clasp you can reach. Then do the jump test at home, a few big jumps and an arm swing, before you trust it for a four-hour set. For bigger busts, a lifted or support cut beats a string triangle, and a mesh top over the bra adds coverage without heat. Two more checks save a lot of returns. Read the fabric line: a bra with no stretch has to fit exactly, while a stretch knit forgives half a size. And read the reviews for your body type, not the star average; a five-star bra on a small chest can be a two-star bra on a bigger one, and reviewers here say that plainly.

What is a rave bra?

A bra or bra top made to be worn as the outfit, not under it. Usually bold: sequins, rhinestones, mesh, prints, faux fur, sometimes LEDs. Most pair with high-waisted bottoms or a skirt and a light layer for when the sun goes down.

Are rave bras comfortable to dance in?

The good ones are. Look for stretch fabric, adjustable straps and a band that sits flat. Stiff sequin and metal hardware look amazing but can rub after a few hours, so wear it around the house for an evening before the festival.

How should a rave bra fit?

Tiny LEDs or fiber optic strands sewn in, run from a small battery pack or a rechargeable USB unit. Most have a few modes, steady, flashing and color-changing. Check the battery life before you buy; a bra that dies at 11 p.m. misses the headliner.

What do you wear with a rave bra?
