Relentless Beats and Deadbeats presents the largest headlining tour of Zeds Dead’s 15-year career, “Journey of a Lifetime”. This career-spanning live experience and most ambitious production up to date features a full-catalog set from their earliest MySpace releases to their most recent cinematic work.
This new chapter includes the most expansive production design the duo has ever toured, evolved storytelling inspired by the television, and space-travel motifs from the Return to the Spectrum of Intergalactic Happiness era. Event and Lineup
Zeds Dead is a Canadian electronic music production duo from Toronto’s underground scene formed in 2009 by Dylan Mamid (DC) and Zachary Rapp-Rovan (Hooks). They formed their name from a famous line in Quentin Tarantino's 1994 film Pulp Fiction and sometimes introduce their performances with the line from the film.
As they shared a love for hip-hop, they hosted a weekly club night in Toronto’s local underground bass and dubstep scene known as Bassmentality. Zeds Dead genre-bending sound is a mixture of hip-hop, heavy dubstep, electro house, with a blend of UK garage, and drum and bass. This special fusion of sound attracted one of electronic music’s most loyal and enduring fanbases before platinum records, global touring, and their Deadbeats label followed.
Retrospective and forward-looking to the future, “Journey of a Lifetime” is a commemorative reflection point and magical celebration of 15 years of genre-defying hip-hop-infused dubstep as a grand finale before the duo will take time off in 2027.
Supporting artists for the Arizona tour stop are IMANU and Ivy Lab with local artists Seds Vortex and Deadpan. Mesa Amphitheatre is ranked as one of the best outdoor concert venues. If you’re not in Arizona, there are other other tour dates across major amphitheaters and venues such as Toronto, Los Angeles, and New York with a return to their Deadrocks residency at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. After landing at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport (PHX), a 45-minute to an hour uber ride to Mesa Amphitheatre is required. Official ticket and hotel packages are unavailable for this event.
