Are you in love with the deep, dark beats of techno and house music? If so, Movement Festival is the place to be! Even if you aren’t too versed in the world of techno, this is a fun festival no matter what and the vibes are out of this world. Movement Festival is taking place this Memorial Day Weekend, May 28th-30th in Detroit at the Hart Plaza. Here is everything you need to know to prepare for this festival!
Tickets
The one thing you absolutely need to attend Movement Festival is tickets! You can cop them here and have the choice between GA and VIP. VIP has a few extra perks added this year, such as a dedicated entrance, additional bars, AC bathrooms, and a viewing deck! Tickets are still available, and there’s options for single day tickets as well so make sure you get yours before it sells out!
Place to Stay
If you’re coming from out of town for this festival, make sure you have an accommodation booked! If you haven’t yet, there’s still plenty of time to figure out a place to stay for the weekend. Know the Lineup!
Movement is stacked with over 110 acts from various genres featuring some amazing DJs like Adam Beyer, Chris Lake, The Martinez Brothers, Maceo Plex, Richie Hawtin, Skrillex, and many more. Taking place over three days across 6 different stages, this festival is stacked hour to hour with some amazing acts and you will for sure find a set and stage that you will enjoy.
If you want to go into the festival prepared, make a plan of who you want to see and make sure you know where the stages are, especially the first day. Going into a festival with no plan is also fun! If you want to explore the stages and DJs spontaneously, Movement will be a blast as well, and there’s going to be amazing sets all day long for you to check out.
