A rave set solves the hardest part of getting dressed for a festival: making two pieces look like they belong together. But stores sell rave sets in very different ways. Some sell the top and bottom as one listing in one size. Some sell each half on its own page, so you can buy a small top and a large bottom. Some let you pick a size for each half inside one listing. We scanned 8 stores' own sets collections on September 28, 2026, and counted complete sets, mix-and-match separates, plus sizes on both halves, stock, prices and reviews. Then we ranked the best two-piece festival sets and picked a winner for matching, for mixing and for dressing a whole group. This guide is one spoke of our wider look at the best rave clothing brands.

Here is how we weighted it, and why.

Fit on both halves, including plus (30%). Sets are where sizing breaks most often, because a top and a bottom rarely fit the same body the same way. We checked who lets you size each half, and counted the women's sets and print families where both the top and the bottom come in a numbered plus size. One store has 44 of them; the next has 12. In letter sizes, one store runs to 3XL on both halves of 268 combos, all of them men's or unisex.

Trust and reviews (25%). Score next to count, every time. A 4.6 from 263 reviews and a 3.3 from 1194 are different signals, and one store here has a profile with no reviews at all. We read on-site reviews on the set pieces themselves for how the halves fit together.

Set range and ways to buy (20%). How many complete sets does the store sell, and how many prints can you mix and match as separates? We read titles, product types and size options on every listing, never the description. The spread is huge: one store sells 1067 combos, another sells all of its pieces as separates.

Selection in stock (15%). A set with one half sold out is half a set. We scored the in-stock rate first and the orderable count second, both on scan day. Rates here run from 6% to 100%.

Value per outfit (10%). Value, not sticker price, and per outfit, not per listing. At four stores a listing is the whole set; at the other four it is one half, so there we added a median top to a median bottom. Each store also gets a price tier from its median regular price per listing, with the tier lines drawn in the real gaps of this set.

iHeartRaves takes the top spot on fit and trust, not on how many sets it sells, and we will say so: three stores here sell far more complete sets. It sells most of its matching looks as separates. Its sets collection has 36 print families with a top and a bottom on their own pages, so you buy each half in your own size. And that size can be plus: 29 of those families have a plus top and a plus bottom, and 15 complete sets come in a plus size too. 175 of 179 pieces were orderable on scan day. iEDM sells the most sets here and is the one to beat for couples and groups. Its couples and groups collection lists 1067 combos of printed tees, tanks, hoodies, crop tops, shorts, joggers and leggings, and 1042 let you pick a size for each half. 122 prints come in both men's and women's cuts. Sizing runs to 3XL on both halves of 268 combos, all men's or unisex; on its women's combos the bottoms stop at 2XL. All 1067 were in stock. It shows a compare-at price on 1067 of 1067, and the median at checkout was $77.95 for both halves.

Devil Walking sells the cheapest complete sets here, and a lot of them. Its two-piece sets collection lists 301 sets at a $28.88 median, the lowest here, and 298 of 301 can also be bought by the piece, a top alone or shorts alone, from the same listing. 300 of 301 were in stock on scan day. Sizes run XS to XXL, with no plus run, and all 301 are women's sets. For a women's crew on a budget, that is hard to beat. Trust is solid at 4.2 on Trustpilot across 163 reviews.

Beginning Boutique is a fashion boutique with a festival edit, and it sells co-ords the way a boutique does: 122 of its 123 pieces are separates, with 19 print families you can mix and match. The look leans boutique, with gingham, chiffon, lace and denim next to sequin minis. Stock was 120 of 123, a 98% rate. Sizes run XXS to XL in letters and to US 18 in numbers, with no numbered plus run. A median top and bottom come to about $110, and trust is middling on a big file: 3.3 on Trustpilot across 1194 reviews.

Rave Wonderland sells rave sets the classic way, as one listing: 232 of its 234 pieces are complete sets, many of them skirt sets, some with fishnets or a third piece. It is one of three stores here with any plus sets, a 1X to 4X or Plus size on 9 of 234. The problem is stock: 173 of 234 were orderable on scan day, a 74% rate. Sizes run XS to 2XL in letters, and a $50.94 median buys the whole set. Trustpilot is thin at 2.5 from 5 reviews, but its product pages carry reviews on the sets.

Dolls Kill has a rave sets collection that is almost entirely sold out. It lists 64 pieces, 63 of them complete sets, and 12 of those sets come in a 1X to 3X, which would make it a good plus option if they were in stock. They mostly were not: only 4 of 64 were orderable on scan day, a 6% rate and the lowest here, and 3 of the plus pieces. Sizes run XXS to XXL, and a $50 median buys the whole set. Trust is middling on a huge file, 3.5 on Trustpilot across 8381 reviews, the biggest review count in this comparison.

Love Khaos sells separates, 37 of 76 described as handmade, and half of them are for men: 38 of its 76 pieces are cut for men or unisex, and 3 print families come in both men's and women's cuts, so a couple can match. Almost everything is a separate, 75 of 76, and custom sizing is offered on top of XXS to 2XL. All 76 were in stock. It is expensive: a median top and bottom come to about $201. There is no Trustpilot profile, so its reviews live on its own product pages.

Outcast sells festival co-ords as separates, all 216 of them, with 54 print families you can mix and match, corset tops and mini skirts in matching prints. Stock was 190 of 216, an 88% rate, and a median top and bottom come to about $145. Sizes run XXS to XL in letters with no plus run, which narrows it for a lot of groups. Trust is the gap: its Trustpilot profile is unclaimed with 0 reviews. Its own product pages do carry reviews on these pieces, and the ones we read were about fit.

Why iHeartRaves wins it: not on count, since Outcast has 54 families to its 36. It wins on the reason to split a set at all, which is fitting two different sizes: 29 of its 36 families have a plus top and a plus bottom. Outcast stops at XL, Devil Walking at XXL and Beginning Boutique at XL or US 18. iEDM also sizes each half inside one listing, but each combo is one fixed print, so it sits in the matching table.

Same print, different bodies. The group table rewards prints that come in men's and women's cuts and in a wide size range.

A few more names worth knowing

Etsy has handmade custom sets, often made to your measurements, which is the answer if nothing off the rack fits you and a friend the same way. It is hard to rank, because a marketplace is many sellers with many size charts.

How to buy a rave set that fits

Start with one question: one listing or two? A complete set is the easy buy when your top and bottom sizes match. If they don't, look for separates in the same print, a listing that lets you pick each size, or a store that sells the set by the piece. Then check both halves are in stock before you fall for the photo; a set with one half sold out is half a set. Read the fabric. Mesh and stretch knits breathe; sequin and faux leather look incredible and run hot. And if you are buying for a group, pick the print first and let everyone choose their own cut, because the same print in a crop top, a tank and a bodysuit still reads as matching from across the field.

A note on pricing and sizing

Median regular prices per listing run from $28.88 to $109.95, and 4 of the 8 sit between $50 and $60, the $$ tier the winner shares with Dolls Kill, Rave Wonderland and Beginning Boutique. Those numbers are not like for like, though. At four stores a listing is the whole set; at the other four it is one half, and a median top and bottom there come to about $105 to $201. The top of the range needs a footnote too: iEDM shows a compare-at price on its combos, so its checkout prices sit well below its regular ones. On sizing, a set is two sizing problems at once. Only three stores here offer a numbered plus size in sets, and only one offers it across most of its shelf. Some do. In our scan, only three of the eight stores offered a numbered plus size in their sets collections, and most of those pieces sat at one store.
