Phoenix Warehouse Project presented Green Velvet’s LALALAND Experience in Phoenix, Arizona on Feb. 14-15, 2025 for a weekend of love and house music. Masterful surprise performances, high-spirit behavior, and cowboy hats graced this LALALAND at Warehouse 215 in unforgettable moments.
Green Velvet’s Bubble Toy Gun: The Silent Star of the Weekend

Where are the bubbles coming from? Here at LALALAND, Green Velvet is our personal bubble-blowing-machine! Green Velvet stayed chilling on the side of the decks wearing his signature black LALALAND cowboy hat and shooting soap bubbles in the air with a toy bubble gun.
Instead of mixing a surprise B2B with supporting headliners, shooting iridescent soap bubbles at the front of the stage was his form of applauding the artist. More bubbles and lasers filtered through the dance floor more than air itself.
House Producers Are Women, Too: The Female Faces Behind the Decks

Day 1 presented Valerie Stoss B2B CECE while Jackie Hollander and SEPPI were the female faces scheduled to perform on day 2. Jackie Hollander introduced her performance with a mashup of emotive songs from her discography like “Pass You By”, “Elusive”, and “I Look Good”. Trance and house music unified in a sonic transcendence. Jackie was strutting a white tank top, black bra, and ponytail–the simple look emulated ‘90s-00s fashion! Obviously, Green Velvet was there blowing bubbles in support as well.
The Surprise B2B Performance We Didn’t Know We Needed: Green Velvet B2B Layton Giordani

On night two, Green Velvet began his set by introducing “Deceiver - VIP” followed by my favorite mashup of two tracks “Percolator x Get Busy”. Shortly after, Layton Giordani hopped onstage to join Green Velvet for a surprise B2B set. The duo played favorite songs “Sheeple” and “Let’s Go Dancing”. Without fail, Green Velvet’s “La La Land” was the encore track, leaving attendees feeling like they found a home in this swirly warehouse.
Cowboy Hats Belong in House Music: LALALAND x Valentine’s Day Fashion

We all know cowboy hats originate from the wild west and are hugely associated with country music, but not here at LALALAND. Cowboy hats belong on Green Velvet’s head and any devout house-loving fan.
The recurring well-loved fashion item from the weekend were cowboy hats in an array of colors and designs. From pink, to LED lights, or classic black, those wearing cowboy hats were seen dancing like main characters to every performance. What special kind of cowboy hat will you wear to the LALALAND experience happening near you?
Holding Our Horses During Layton Giordani’s Set

Where there’s a cowboy hat, there’s a high-spirited horse nearby! During Layton Giordani’s performance, the crowd screamed the lyrics to “Stephanie - HNTR Remix” before he transitioned to “PATT (Party All The Time)”. Dare I say the party was officially starting?
At the same time, a medium-sized horse figurine was held in the air like a dancing totem pole thumping up and down mid-air. This horse-loving raver teaches all ravers: if we can’t bring a totem pole to the rave, we’ll bring our favorite toy or figurine instead. Random and unhinged–it’s warehouse-special moments that make the LALALAND experience as playful as it is.
