Relentless Beats’ two-night event, Better Together was a dance floor of peace, love, and groovy sounds. On November 22-23, 2024 in Goodyear, Arizona, heart-stealing songs and disco among this singing crowd commenced this celebration of song and dance. From mesmerizing electronic acts such as Black Coffee to FISHER, it was better when we danced together!

Day 1: Music Sounds Better With You

It’s better when we connect through music together. Festival gates opened and attendees were welcomed with Molly Otto and her electric guitar. As sunset approached, Spencer Brown featured deep house sounds paired with visuals of natural landscapes. Oceans, mountains, waterfalls, cleansed the eyes and mind during this serene performance.

After, Neil Frances proved disco’s not dead with tracks like “Music Sounds Better With You” and Soulwax’s, “NY Lipps (Kawazaki Dub)” alongside a visual of a disco ball. Dreams of Studio 54 came alive during this performance. Soon, the dance floor darkened with red lasers to match Carl Cox’s hard-hitting techno.

The moon and stars appeared at the same time Disclosure was scheduled to perform. Tracks “You & Me - Flume Remix” and “Latch” further made this a night of endlessly singing one’s heart out. As the dance floor flooded with attendees in Tiësto jerseys, Tiësto mixed rap heaters like “New Level” by A$AP Ferg. Lasers in blue, red, and green infiltrated the room like a grand art installation.

Day 2: The Sound of Love & Connection

Singing your favorite track at the top of your lungs with friends is the sound of love and connection. Beginning this day’s excursion of sonic unity was DMTRI and DJ Mandy. DJ Mandy featured the songs made to make you dance without care, “Merther - Mau P Remix” and “Get Busy - Odd Mob Club Remix”

Devout fans ran to camp in front of the stage in hopes for a glimpse of Channel Tres. His performance began in pitch black with a monologue shedding philosophy on love. Frank Ocean’s “Pink + White” played, hands in the crowd began to sway, and voices joined together. The singing grew stronger when Channel Tres featured ABBA’s “Dancing Queen”. His track “Topdown” played for his encore.

KAYTRANADA mixed well-known songs from his discography such as “VIVID DREAMS”, “YOU’RE THE ONE”, and “Be Your Girl”. “10%” drowned the speakers and the crowd sang louder in excitement prior to Black Coffee’s set.

The long wait for the famous headliner was finally over. FISHER claimed the stage at the end of the night first showcasing “Somebody (2024)”. You guessed it–the crowd sang along to this track, too. Vibrant white lasers consumed the dance floor once again while bodies danced without fail “TAKE IT OFF” and “Losing It”. Because, it’s always better when we dance harder together, Arizona.
