Lost Lands is considered the ultimate bucket list destination for riddim rats, bass baddies, and headbangers from all over the globe. Enjoy three full days of the latest and greatest in the scene at Legend Valley in Ohio Sep 19-21, with fully custom stage designs and visuals. With a stacked lineup featuring artists like Excision b2b Subtronics, Crankdat, Tape B, Vampa, and so many more, you're bound to catch one of your favorite DJs playing their best sets. Not to mention, the stages are next-level, including the new-and-improved Crater stage and the massive Prehistoric stage with pyrotechnics.
However, Lost Lands is a four-day marathon set on a massive campground and demands plenty of stamina and energy to keep up with all the action. Pacing yourself and staying in tune with your body are of utmost importance when attending massive festivals like these, as well as staying knowledgeable about everything going on that weekend. Check out our ultimate survival guide for Lost Lands 2025, and you'll be ready to take on the dinosaurs!

Lost Lands is a marathon, not a race to exctinction
It’s hard not to go all out on day one, especially with the huge Thursday pre-party featuring secret acts at the Crater and an epic b2b2b2b2b2b (not exaggerating) takeover at the main stage. With good vibes and excitement brewing all around, some are encouraged to let loose before the festival even begins. However, time and again, this leads many ravers to an all-time burnout by Friday at 2 p.m., turning into the sleepy slacker for the rest of the weekend. To fully enjoy yourself and preserve your energy, we recommend:
-
Getting a good night's rest every night for a week before the festival
-
Drinking double the usual amount of water two weeks before the fest
-
Taking breaks between sets to listen to your body and your friends' bodies
-
Considering sacrificing one afterparty to recharge and go wild the next day
-
Eating three times a day, even when you don't feel like it, to regain energy

Make an easy-to-follow expedition plan
Just one look at the Lost Lands lineup can be both thrilling and anxiety-inducing (anyone else need reading glasses?). Having a game plan that's simple and easy to follow is key to making the most out of your weekend, especially if you’re rolling deep with your rave squad. Here are our tips for creating your festival schedule:
-
Pick your top three artists every day that don’t conflict
-
Then choose 10 more you'd like to check out over the weekend
-
If there’s a conflict, decide in the moment based on where you are (e.g., stage distance, majority rules, rarity of the set)
-
Once you arrive, make sure the first thing you do is get a lay of the land and mentally mark good meetup spots for each stage, in case your group splits up
-
Make time for camp visits, merch shopping, checking out activations, and all the other cool activities beyond watching sets

Dress to impress, but also to survive
Legend Valley’s design will make you feel transported into the prehistoric era. Massive, realistic dinosaur figurines rule the land, and varied terrain dominates the landscape. This area can be challenging for beginner ravers who didn’t bring the best pair of expedition shoes.
There are rocks, hills, roots, and all sorts of pathways that can lead to a med tent visit if you’re not well-equipped. We recommend bringing your sturdiest pair of boots or walking shoes—lightweight enough for up to 20,000 (yes) steps a day. If you MUST wear your beloved sky-high platforms, bring a change of shoes into the festival (plus insoles, ankle wraps, and anything else to protect your feet).
It’s also HOT during the day and can get VERY chilly at night. Pack your slay-all-day fits with a matching cover-up (try our new jerseys), your trusty pashmina for the dust, and your cutest sunglasses and hats so you stay protected while still getting those fit pics.

Lost Lands is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience and a crowd favorite among the iHeartRaves team. Being prepared ensures you get the most out of what this magical place has to offer. See you in the pit!
